- Offers and Promotions
- We run promotions and offers as part of our marketing of business cards and each offer or promotion is only valid for the time period stated and only for that offer, and cannot be used inconjuction with any other promotion or offer these offers are only available on business cards and not any other printed item or design unless stated. All promotions and offers are off rrp prices stated on the website, www.keelyprint.com. email marketing: We as part of our marketing send regular email promotions to our customers, if you would like to make sure you receive these offers please add us to your address book. Should you wish to unsubscribe to these offers please use the unsubscribe link on the email, or use the unsubscribe form on the \\\"Join our Newsletter\\\" webpage. Please do not email us because we are unable to remove you, unless you use the unsubscribe link. These promotions are only open to customers who have already purchased business cards from us or registered there email address with us using the online form located in the \"Information\" section on this website. Marketing Support Packaging: For all customers that purchase business cards from us we despach promotional support packaging in the form of promotional business card discounts or leaflets on re-orders and new orders these are open to both the purchasing customer and friends and family of that customer. Please do not phone us and ask about promotions as staff are not advised to the promotions and offers availble to customers. All business card promotions are only available on the website orders and cannot be used with orders that require design or artwork, and require processing of that item. All discounts offered only apply to the business cards and finishing and do not include postage/service options. No promotions or offers are offered on artwork services, leaflets, stationery or brochures unless stated. Keely Print Ltd reserves the right to except promotions or offers outside of there validation end date and reserves the right to change, end or alter any promotion or offer without prior notice.
- How much will it cost to design a leaflet, brochure or stationery
- We can only quote on design/artwork on sight of what the customer can supply, or a full brief that is very specific. Any price given is only a estimate, we only allow i set of corrections by the customer and two initial ideas are presented. Any customers corrections that are presented by the customer after this time will be charged for at Keely Prints discretion. The customer will be informed if any extra charges apply before the work is done and low res pdf proofs will be supplied before full hi-resolution artwork is transmitted or printed. After initial designs are presented the customer will be asked to pay for the initial time by credit card, if customer refuses payment at this point Keely Print reserves the right to cease services at any point thereafter. Artwork rights remain the property of Keely Print Ltd, and all copyright laws apply.
- Can you check my artwork before printing?
- We offer a free file checking service, so if you are not 100% sure that your artwork is print ready before placing your order, please send us your material and we will check it for suitability. Please find our file checking service under Help and Support.
We will check the following; CMYK/RGB - is your printed product in the correct format? Bleed - does your printed product have the right bleed? Size - is your printed product the size you actually want? DPI - is your printed product the correct resolution? File Type - is your file printable?
We will check all of the above and will inform you if anything is incorrect, We willl also let you know if we can fix it.
What we will not do: We do not check your artwork for spelling or grammatical mistakes. We only check technical information to ensure the file will print correctly.
Once you have submitted your files for free review, we try to get back to you within 8 working hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm.
Please make sure your artwork is correct before uploading we take no responsibility if artwork is not to the correct print ready specification and produces a poorly printed card when uploaded and this is solely the responsibility of the customer to ensure this. - Can you match my previously printed business cards for colour?
- Due to the nature of printing, and different stocks available and finishing and the variation in quality of artwork we do not specifically match colours to previously printed items in CYMK unless your are ordering printed items from us printed using the pantone colour match ink system in which case all printed Items are printed to Pantone colour match standards.
- Do you count weekends in your order times?
- We only work Weekdays 8.30am - 5.00pm and do not count weekends or bank holidays in our despatch dates any orders placed of a weekend will start being processed in the next available working day.
- Can I pay by Pre-paid Credit cards?
- yes you can pay with pre-paid credit cards, please use the credit card payment system within the paypal option to pay NOT pay by credit card, as these employ a different system of payment to normal credit cards and will not be accepted under the websites pay by credit card. These pre-paid credit cards can also be assigned to you paypal account so you can then also have the option to pay by paypal also.
- Can I get a proof for leaflets, brochures or Stationery.
- Yes we send you a free pdf of your artwork and this comes as standard, but should you require a hardcopy colour proof, these are a charged as a extra cost. Please make sure you have included artwork instructions on order before payment is made should you require a colour proof.
- Do I get a proof of my business card
- yes you do all e-invoices which are sent to you as order confirmation have a link line attached to them which you can either view or download a pdf of your business card.
Should you find a error on your proof please contact us immediately. - How do I order leaflets, brochures or stationery?
- We are happy to accept press ready artwork from customers in pdf formats preferably, or we can have our in-house design team design work for you.Should you have any other artwork formats please contact us to confirm we can accept them.
You can email us your artwork with job instructions or post it to us in CD if you feel it is too large to email. Please then contact us to make payment, we can accept most major credit cards and paypal.
All leaflets, brochures and stationery are to be paid for in advance, with a design fee should you require design work, we will only quote on the design fee on site of material, with the allowance of 1 set of authors corrections free of charge. If continuous authors corrections are made these may be charged for at Keely Prints discretion. - Do you really offer free design?
- This service is subject to offer only and is only valid for the duration of the offer stated. At all other times this service is chargeable at keely prints discretion. All rights and artwork remain property of Keely Print Ltd, and \\\\\\\"free design\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\' is the service offered not the artwork created. This is non transferable and is subject to offer. Please contact us for further information should you have any queries regarding current offers or promotions..
- Can not remove text shown on my design ?
- Sometimes as you move from one design to another some text from previous designs may \\\" follow you \\\". Which means you will see text on the card and the text input box below is \\\" empty \\\" or blank. To overcome this problem just put a row of say 10 full stops in the empty / blank input box ( eg. .......................................... ) then delete them. This will then remove the unwanted text. If the problem pursists call Lee or Ian on 01502 713930 or use the Online LiveHelp contact button at the top of the page , to receive Online Help free of charge.
- What is bleed ?
- The very edges of the document are called the bleed area. To prevent an unwanted white border from showing at the edge of your document, be sure to extend any background colours or design elements all the way to the edge.
- What is resolution?
- Resolution refers to the number of dots per inch (dpi), or the amount of detail the image has. Most documents prepared for upload should be 300 dpi at 100% of the final print size. Higher resolution means a more detailed image, and also larger file and longer upload time. Smaller resolution will result in lower quality.
- What are Raster Images?
- A raster image is composed of a collection of tiny dots called pixels. When these pixels are small, and placed close together, they fool the eye into forming a single image. Raster images work well when subtle gradations of color are necessary. Because they contain a fixed number of pixels, a major disadvantage of raster images is that their quality suffers when they are enlarged or otherwise transformed. They are also large in file size.
- What are Vector Images?
- Vector images use mathematical equations to define each component of an image. This allows vector images to retain their high-quality at any size. When possible, use vector graphics created in a desktop publishing program.

Orders will be despatched within 10 working days (Postage and Packing starts at £2-98 + VAT for an order of 50 cards - Please see our Pricing pages for further information.
Fast Service Orders will be despatched within 4-5 working days. Orders must be placed before 11am for that day to be counted as the first working day of the service.
Express Service Orders will be despatched within 2-3 working days.Orders must be placed before 11am for that day to be counted as the first working day of the service All Express orders are delivered by courier and have to be signed for. These cannot be left. At ordering a alternative delivery address maybe designated.
Please note our working day commences at 8.30am and finishes at 5.30pm , our working week is Monday to Friday.
Most orders are sent by Royal Mail and are delivered by your postman but we do use a next day courier on heavier parcels for deliveries on occasions and Couriers will deliver between 9.00am and 4.00pm (normally on orders over 500 cards and upto 7.30pm in the Scottish Highlands ).
Royal Mail Post will often be delivered next day after despatch but we are unable to track your order and delivery times may vary. - Business Cards For Larger Companies
- We can now offer business cards in a variety of formats and sizes, not to mention printing in both CYMK and Pantone Inks on a variety of artboard. We have a wide range of finishes to choose from, including Matt and Gloss Lamination, Machine Seals and UV Varnishes.
We also can offer in-house design and setting or of you prefer you may supply your own artwork at the correct print ready specifications or your own template for us to work from*
The minimum order is ideally 16/20 cards x 200 Quantity of each, to achieve a competitive quote, with any finishing option, alternatively single or 2 colour cards with no finishing the minimum quantity is 8/10 cards x 200 Quantity of each. You may also use our upload service on the website. Standard business cards 85 x 55mm with Matt or Gloss Lamination, printed in CYMK.
Please contact us for a competitive quote with your requirements. *(artwork charges may apply) - I want to reorder but I have lost my e-invoice!
- We keep all order information and e-invoices securely and can access these to find your e-invoice which has a unique reorder code for your order. However we require you to supply your name, postcode and email address when you placed the order from so we can trace this back.
We will then send you a copy of the invoice with the reorder code on, this invoice contains a link which will take you directly to our reorder page so you may order with ease. - Email Marketing and Mailing
- We regular contact our customers through email marketing and mailings offering you great offers, and deals for business cards. If you would like to receive them please add our email address to your address book so you can see these great offers when they are sent from us, as we are aware with ever increasing Spam Filters in email software that many of our customers are missing out.
- What are your Service/Delivery Charges for Standard, Faster and Express Services

2.2 Where we store your personal data All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

2.5 Our right to extend these policies The right to use the terms within this policy (in relation to any information that you upload) and those contained within the Terms and Conditions [link to Terms and Conditions] extend to anyone who succeeds ownership of our business. They have the right to use such information for the purpose of carrying out the service they provide in conjunction with the service we provide.
2.6 Access to information. The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £3.00 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
2.7 Changes to our Privacy Policy Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail. - Our definition of a FREE card and our right to refuse any order
- We define a free card as one costing 2p or less for 50 cards due to the limitations of our pricing page. We reserve the right not to accept an order if we so feel, in which case a full refund will be made. All offers of free cards are subject to offer and cannot be transfered.
- Why are my business cards a different colour to those on your website?
- The website, as all computer monitors, televisions etc. use the RGB colour mode. This makes up the colours you see on screen from Red, Green and Blue, and visual representations can only exist in this colour mode. The business cards are printed using a CYMK Lithographic Press - this makes up all the colours using Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black ink.
In all printing processes from RGB to CYMK colour you get a CYMK equivalent in ink colours to what you see on-screen, as the design and print software we use gives the best industry standard for colour representation. The colour you see on screen, can also vary depending on the colour contrast, brightness etc. you have you monitor set to and these can vary according to peoples visual preferences and technical skill when setting up there monitor as well as to the colour profile the monitor uses. - Do we need more Quality Business Card Designs ?

So how can you supply new designs to us and EARN from it immediately ?
It is simple, first design (and save as a Pdf) a business card for 1) an Odd Job Man/Lady, 2) a Decorator 3) A person involved in Beauty treatments and finally 4) A personal card you would hand to a new colleague/friend.
When you have designed this small portfolio of cards email them to ikeely7395@aol.com and we will let you know if you could become one of our current designers with the opportunity to earn up to £30 per hour from the comfort of your studio, home or office. - We have two options when uploading your own work, you can either upload just an image and choose from our text templates or upload entire artwork for a business card.
When using this upload option you must following the upload guidelines exactly otherwise the business card you upload will not print as you expect it to, and due to our automated system we can not alter the files in anyway before printing.
To upload your artwork, select the upload option in the Browse by Type on the Products page this will take you through to a new page with Artwork Specifications so you can create and upload your file here.
Specifications: Your finished card size is 85mm x 55mm, But we require a document size of 91mm x 61mm, this is to allow 3mm bleed to be trimmed of all the way around the card, giving you your finished card size. Anything in this bleed area wll be trimmed off.
Your artwork or image should be in RGB Color Mode, and with a resolution of 300dpi. If you try to upload artwork in any colour mode other than this you will find the preview screen will appear black and you will not be able to see it.
Artwork or images not supplied at 300 dpi may appear pixelated, and will print badly. We cannot alter the artwork resolution and this needs to be set correctly in your original artwork. We accept files in .tif, jpeg and PDF file formats.
Please keep all file names inculding suffix to under 10 characters. If the screen turns grey, or a keelyprint logo appears on screen in place of your preview artwork please check the length of your file name. All layers and transparencies to be flattened and all fonts should be outlined.
We are not responsible for your finished business card should you not follow these specifications exactly and would advise you to contact us if you need any help with this. - Why are your prices different to the last time I placed an order?
- We continually update our prices to the best we can offer, and we run discounts and special offers, which mean our prices can vary from visit to visit of our website. If a promotional offer or discount is running you will see our standard prices crossed out and the discounted price in red. We also offer our customers promotional, and other discount codes these may not be used in conjuction with any other offer, and are non transferrable.
- Do you accept cheques?
- Payment is online only with a debit/credit card or paypal only. We cannot except cheques or postal orders.
- Do your Business Card Prices include VAT?
- Our Business Card prices do not include VAT, and this is added to you final order at the current rate.
- Can I get a quote?
- Yes, However we have a page dedicated to pricing saving you both a phone call and email. You can find all the information on the latest prices on our Pricing pages and all the latest on delivery turnaround times on this FAQ page.

- From the moment you agree the terms and conditions at the end of the payment process, it enters an automated system, and is sent directly to our presses. We cannot make any changes to your order or cancel it from this point forward.
- I’m not happy with my cards!
- We take the utmost care when producing our business cards to the highest standards, however due to production and printing methods, occasionally errors occur, these are very rare but sometimes happen. If you are not happy send us six examples of your cards in a first class DL envelope, together with your orginal order number and a note explaining the problem. If the fault is ours we will reprint your cards free of charge. We print your order with details and files you supply so we cannot take responsibility for spelling errors or bad print quality, if the artwork has not been created to our specifications.
- Non deliveries
- Please check your production speed option to see what you had choosen on your order, if you order has not arrived after this time, it is worth checking that your local postman/sorting office is not holding your delivery, they may have put a card through your letterbox if they have not been able to deliver? If your parcel has not arrived after the 14th working day, give us a call or email us at info@keelyprint.com together with your original order number, then we can make a claim for your missing goods and reprint your order and despatch it to you.
- How thick is your Standard 400GSM Coated Gloss Art Board ?
- Our Standard 400GSM Magno Triple Coated Gloss Art Board is 0.33mm thick ( approximately 13 thou of an inch ), please remember that gloss and matt lamination options will increase the thickness of your finished card. Please also remember to check the thickness of your present card before ordering as 400GSM Gloss and Matt/Silk Art Boards used for business cards can varying considerably from one manufacturer ( Paper Mills/Paper manufacturers ) to another. Definition: GSM stands for grams per square metre.
- How do I use your design suite?
- Each card uses a individual background, and depending on the background will have a different text layout for the design.
In the preview screen, you will see your design take shape without you having to press any buttons, just type your information in the fields, and watch the text appear in the preview.
Due to the individual nature of each design you will be given different options within text fields, including Company Name, Company Message, Name, Job Title, and contact details. Some cards have prefixs i.e. Tel: Fax: Mobile: etc, in front of the numbers you can remove these if you want or copy and paste them down to remove spaces if for example you have no Fax number. You can even copy the Tel: prefix into the number box giving you the option to have it in the same font as your number.
There are two control menus on the design suite these will display the colour, font and size of the text and control each text area, you have the option to make the text bigger and smaller depending on your information we have set our business cards with a standart business card font size to start which we feel is best suited you may change this also but may notice that the line spacing will alter also.
If there is information within a text field you don’t need just delete it. You can choose your own font and colour from the colour pallet, giving your card a unique design to you.
You can browse other cards by going back to the products page or by browsing the cards to the right of the preview box, the design suite remembers you information and will transfere it across to other cards, but because each card is indivual in its design, you may have more or less text field options on a different card and will have to design your details to fit each card giving you a personalised business card. - What if I\'ve made a mistake or want to cancel my order?
- We apologise if this is the case but our ordering system is fully automated and we are unable to cancel or amend an order once it has been placed.
We are unable to make any refunds due to your mistakes or inaccuracies on your business card and service level requested (Standard, Quicker or Urgent).
We strongly advise you to check your business card design very carefully before proceeding with final checkout and online payment. If you are not sure about your card, text, design or service level in any way please contact us by email at info@keelyprint.com or by telephone 01502 713930 or 01502 712836 and do not proceed with payment until your queries have been answered and you are satisfied. - How do I re-order?
- When you receive an order confirmation email for your business cards you will be given a code to reenter into our system. Please retain this code to be able to initiate the reorder process.
- Can I place my order by phone or post?
- All orders must be processed online so that you can use the full benefits of our website and design suite to find and customize the perfect card for you or upload your own artwork using the upload suite
- Can I order more than one card at the same time?
- Yes you can, please follow though the order process for a card, and then once you reach the cart stage you may return to search for more cards.
